Oh, I'm sorry, I've been crying over spilt milk. No, I have it, but if you ever heard that say, don't cry over spilt milk growing up I heard that awful. It was a reference to stop regretting what's already done. It's past, it's over, there's nothing you can do about it. Now Stop worrying...

...about it. You know, you and I both have probably heard that. In fact, that's some wisdom there. You can't put the milk back in the cart. It's done. It's over. Move On. The wisdom of such is obviously accurate when you and I make a mistake. It's done, it's over. Time to move old. There's no sense and spending time weeping over it. It's over. Let's move forward. Or is there an opportunity? Is there a tie to weep over spilt milk. There are times when such sweeping actually might benefit us. Are there times when such mourning over mistakes might benefit our children, that they might learn from it? Or perhaps if we spend time mourning over our mistakes, might it help us with future decisions?...

It's a thought, and we see it in the lives of Israel, in fact, where in numbers chapters thirteen and fourteen, we see the spies going into Canaan and we see rebellion against God. But I want to read numbers fourteen, Verses Twenty eight and follow so tell them. As surely as I live, declares the Lord. I will do to you the very thing I heard you say in this wilderness. Your bodies will fall. Every one of you twenty years old or more who was counted in the senses and who has grumbled against me. Not One of you will enter the land I swore with uplifted hand to make your home, except Caleb, son of Jaffuna and Joshua, son of Nune. As for your children, she said would be...

...taken as plunder, I will bring them in to enjoy the land that you rejected. But as for you, your bodies will fall in this wilderness. Your children will be shepherds here for forty years, suffering for your unfaithfulness until the last of your bodies lies in the Wilderness. For forty years, one year for each of the forty days you explored the land. You will suffer for your sins and know what it is like to have me against you. I, the Lord, have spoken and I will surely do these things to this whole wicked community which has bandoned together against me. They will meet their in and this willderness here. They will die so the me and Moses had seemed to explore the land, who returned and made the whole community grumble against him by spreading a bad report about it. These men, who were responsible...

...for spreading the bad report about the land, were stripped down and died for a plane before the Lord. Of the men who went to explore the land, only Joshua, son of none and Caleb son of Jaffuna survived. When Moses reported this to all the Israelites, they wept or mourned bitterly. They mourned and wept. There weeping came because of their own doubt. They're Weeki weep being came as a result of their own sin. They had lost something, dear because they doubted God. The twelve fewish pride spies had just returned from the promised land. Now these twelve spies had gone out. They were going into the land to look at the land, to see what the lamb...

...was like, to kind of strategize about taking the land that God had promised he was going to give them. Then come back dear said no, we can't take it. Oh, the lands flowing with bilk and honey. It's beautiful, just as the Lord said. It's everything God said, but we can't take it like God said. And then, interesting, they came back and they give a report. The land is everything God said. So God's words right there, but we can't take it as God said. So God's words wrong there. Joshua and Caleb come back and they said, guess it is everything God said, but we can take it. US ask God said. It's never wise, never wise to believe parts of God's word and out other parts. There are some parts of God's word that's easy to believe.

There are other parts that de man a little more faith, and that's where we distinguish between Caleb and Joshua and the others. That's where we distinguish between mature Christians and immature Christians, those who believe the whole word of God, those who pick and choose what to believe, because some things are easier to believe than others. By the way, a lot of Christians, in my opinion, have done just that. It's not that easy to believe that God could have created everything in six literal days. That's not easy to believe, and so a lot of people don't believe that, even though they'll believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. How foolish to doubt any of God's word. Well, they dared to proclaim that, even though God had said,...

I've given it to you, that they couldn't take the land. And there's giants in the land and those giants will keep us from getting what God desires us to have. No, they're still giants today, giants of philosophies, giants of circumstances, giants of temptations, giants of disappointments, giants of environments, all of these giants in our lives. Just as the giants in the land threatened to question God's word. Even so, the giants in our lives threaten US questioning God's word. Can God's word be true when the giants of philosophy say otherwise? Can God's word be true when the giants of circumstances to say otherwise? Can God's word be true when the giants of temptations say otherwise? That's where you and I have to decide we're going to trust God's...

...word, even in the face of the giants, because it is impossible to please God without faith. From the bandage point of the New Testament, the promised land represents heaven or, more accurately, heaven on earth. We will make the proposition that heaven on earth, represented by the Promised Land, is to be acquainted with the presence and blessings of God while we're in this world. So how can you and I enjoy heaven on earth? How can you and I enjoy the presence and blessings of God in this world? By trusting God's word. You and I've heard testimony after testimony of the bless of God in this life. We've had individuals get up in churches and talk about how...

God blessed the win. They trusted him with their entire beer be. We have heard of the blessings received when we re surrender all this world has to offer to follow God's word. The blessings that we've heard or beyond description. But standing in front of us and Bliss of Heaven on Earth. For the giants of this world, the giants who say no, God's way isn't best, God's ways too difficult, you'll never make it. If you follow God's word, don't pursue heaven on earth, just settle where you are. Just settle for glimpses of Heaven on earth. Could life with God really defeat the giant of pleasure? Could life with God defeat the giant of possessions? Could...

...life with God defeat the giant of popularity or the giant of power? The children of Israel wept because they knew God had proven himself faithful time and time and time again. They've come so far in their faith they were on the verge of heaven on earth, but they wept because they chose not to believe and therefore didn't experience. The promising man never experienced heaven on earth. God is sweeter than the sinful pleasures of this world. He satisfies more than the possessions this world has to offer. He's greater than the gods of this world. But the only way to experience heaven on earth it's faith, trust in God and obeying God's word, and as we do such, we enter the...

...promised land. We feached on the joys of Heaven. Paul still living in this world. Thus, we must ask ourselves what areas of our lives are keeping us from enjoying heaven on earth. What ways were we doubting God's word? If we spilled the meal, we can mourn over it and hopefully our children will learn from our mistakes, but there's no need to speel the mill. Don't doubt I've seen the giants in my life and with the face of faith of Joshua and Caleb, I'm trusting God's Word and thus I'm experiencing heaven on earth, even the state, I'm experiencing the presence and blessings of God.

No matter the giants of circumstance, I'm pressing home and trust in God's word. How about you? Are you trusting God's word? Are you doubting God's word when it comes to the circumstantiarian? Are you doubting God's Word When God tells you to do something, but you're just not sure. Are you doubting God's word when it comes to pleasures or positions? Don't doubt his word, trust his word and thereby walk into that promised land here on Earth, heaven on earth, as God desires us all to experience him in the place of these gods that are no God's here this world. What a wonderful God we serve. Well, are reading for tomorrow's numbers, fee fifteen through seventy, but I want to pray for us before we close today. Father,...

...we come today and we thank you again for your word, for teaching us from your word the importance of trusting all of your word. God, it seems easy to trust that you sent you're only begotten Son to die on the cross and raised him from the dead, but as we grow in our faith, sometimes it's difficult to trust you in the matter of ties. Sometimes it's difficult to trust that your word is true in Genesis one and two when the world says it's not. Sometimes it's difficult to trust when you tell us to love our enemies. Lord, help us to trust all of your word. May We not be like those ten spies who trusted part of it, but...

...not all. Maybe we be like Joshua and Cayley, trust all your word and thereby experience. Hevin or thank you for such even today, Christ name we pray. Thank you for joining us today.
