No, I have it, but if you ever heard that say, don't cryover spilt milk growing up I heard that awful. It was a reference tostop regretting what's already done. It's past, it's over, there's nothing you cando about it. Now Stop worrying...

...about it. You know, youand I both have probably heard that. In fact, that's some wisdom there. You can't put the milk back in the cart. It's done. It'sover. Move On. The wisdom of such is obviously accurate when you andI make a mistake. It's done, it's over. Time to move old. There's no sense and spending time weeping over it. It's over. Let'smove forward. Or is there an opportunity? Is there a tie to weep overspilt milk. There are times when such sweeping actually might benefit us.Are there times when such mourning over mistakes might benefit our children, that theymight learn from it? Or perhaps if we spend time mourning over our mistakes, might it help us with future decisions?...

It's a thought, and we seeit in the lives of Israel, in fact, where in numbers chaptersthirteen and fourteen, we see the spies going into Canaan and we see rebellionagainst God. But I want to read numbers fourteen, Verses Twenty eight andfollow so tell them. As surely as I live, declares the Lord.I will do to you the very thing I heard you say in this wilderness. Your bodies will fall. Every one of you twenty years old or morewho was counted in the senses and who has grumbled against me. Not Oneof you will enter the land I swore with uplifted hand to make your home, except Caleb, son of Jaffuna and Joshua, son of Nune. Asfor your children, she said would be...

...taken as plunder, I will bringthem in to enjoy the land that you rejected. But as for you, your bodies will fall in this wilderness. Your children will be shepherds here forforty years, suffering for your unfaithfulness until the last of your bodies lies inthe Wilderness. For forty years, one year for each of the forty daysyou explored the land. You will suffer for your sins and know what itis like to have me against you. I, the Lord, have spokenand I will surely do these things to this whole wicked community which has bandonedtogether against me. They will meet their in and this willderness here. Theywill die so the me and Moses had seemed to explore the land, whoreturned and made the whole community grumble against him by spreading a bad report aboutit. These men, who were responsible...

...for spreading the bad report about theland, were stripped down and died for a plane before the Lord. Ofthe men who went to explore the land, only Joshua, son of none andCaleb son of Jaffuna survived. When Moses reported this to all the Israelites, they wept or mourned bitterly. They mourned and wept. There weeping camebecause of their own doubt. They're Weeki weep being came as a result oftheir own sin. They had lost something, dear because they doubted God. Thetwelve fewish pride spies had just returned from the promised land. Now thesetwelve spies had gone out. They were going into the land to look atthe land, to see what the lamb...

...was like, to kind of strategizeabout taking the land that God had promised he was going to give them. Then come back dear said no, we can't take it. Oh, thelands flowing with bilk and honey. It's beautiful, just as the Lord said. It's everything God said, but we can't take it like God said. And then, interesting, they came back and they give a report. Theland is everything God said. So God's words right there, but we can'ttake it as God said. So God's words wrong there. Joshua and Calebcome back and they said, guess it is everything God said, but wecan take it. US ask God said. It's never wise, never wise tobelieve parts of God's word and out other parts. There are some partsof God's word that's easy to believe.

There are other parts that de mana little more faith, and that's where we distinguish between Caleb and Joshua andthe others. That's where we distinguish between mature Christians and immature Christians, thosewho believe the whole word of God, those who pick and choose what tobelieve, because some things are easier to believe than others. By the way, a lot of Christians, in my opinion, have done just that. It's not that easy to believe that God could have created everything in six literaldays. That's not easy to believe, and so a lot of people don'tbelieve that, even though they'll believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. How foolish to doubt any of God's word. Well, they dared toproclaim that, even though God had said,...

I've given it to you, thatthey couldn't take the land. And there's giants in the land and thosegiants will keep us from getting what God desires us to have. No,they're still giants today, giants of philosophies, giants of circumstances, giants of temptations, giants of disappointments, giants of environments, all of these giants inour lives. Just as the giants in the land threatened to question God's word. Even so, the giants in our lives threaten US questioning God's word. Can God's word be true when the giants of philosophy say otherwise? Can God'sword be true when the giants of circumstances to say otherwise? Can God's wordbe true when the giants of temptations say otherwise? That's where you and Ihave to decide we're going to trust God's...

...word, even in the face ofthe giants, because it is impossible to please God without faith. From thebandage point of the New Testament, the promised land represents heaven or, moreaccurately, heaven on earth. We will make the proposition that heaven on earth, represented by the Promised Land, is to be acquainted with the presence andblessings of God while we're in this world. So how can you and I enjoyheaven on earth? How can you and I enjoy the presence and blessingsof God in this world? By trusting God's word. You and I've heardtestimony after testimony of the bless of God in this life. We've had individualsget up in churches and talk about how...

God blessed the win. They trustedhim with their entire beer be. We have heard of the blessings received whenwe re surrender all this world has to offer to follow God's word. Theblessings that we've heard or beyond description. But standing in front of us andBliss of Heaven on Earth. For the giants of this world, the giantswho say no, God's way isn't best, God's ways too difficult, you'll nevermake it. If you follow God's word, don't pursue heaven on earth, just settle where you are. Just settle for glimpses of Heaven on earth. Could life with God really defeat the giant of pleasure? Could life withGod defeat the giant of possessions? Could...

...life with God defeat the giant ofpopularity or the giant of power? The children of Israel wept because they knewGod had proven himself faithful time and time and time again. They've come sofar in their faith they were on the verge of heaven on earth, butthey wept because they chose not to believe and therefore didn't experience. The promisingman never experienced heaven on earth. God is sweeter than the sinful pleasures ofthis world. He satisfies more than the possessions this world has to offer. He's greater than the gods of this world. But the only way to experience heavenon earth it's faith, trust in God and obeying God's word, andas we do such, we enter the...

...promised land. We feached on thejoys of Heaven. Paul still living in this world. Thus, we mustask ourselves what areas of our lives are keeping us from enjoying heaven on earth. What ways were we doubting God's word? If we spilled the meal, wecan mourn over it and hopefully our children will learn from our mistakes, but there's no need to speel the mill. Don't doubt I've seen the giants inmy life and with the face of faith of Joshua and Caleb, I'mtrusting God's Word and thus I'm experiencing heaven on earth, even the state,I'm experiencing the presence and blessings of God.

No matter the giants of circumstance,I'm pressing home and trust in God's word. How about you? Areyou trusting God's word? Are you doubting God's word when it comes to thecircumstantiarian? Are you doubting God's Word When God tells you to do something, but you're just not sure. Are you doubting God's word when it comes topleasures or positions? Don't doubt his word, trust his word and thereby walk intothat promised land here on Earth, heaven on earth, as God desiresus all to experience him in the place of these gods that are no God'shere this world. What a wonderful God we serve. Well, are readingfor tomorrow's numbers, fee fifteen through seventy, but I want to pray for usbefore we close today. Father,...

...we come today and we thank youagain for your word, for teaching us from your word the importance of trustingall of your word. God, it seems easy to trust that you sentyou're only begotten Son to die on the cross and raised him from the dead, but as we grow in our faith, sometimes it's difficult to trust you inthe matter of ties. Sometimes it's difficult to trust that your word istrue in Genesis one and two when the world says it's not. Sometimes it'sdifficult to trust when you tell us to love our enemies. Lord, helpus to trust all of your word. May We not be like those tenspies who trusted part of it, but...

...not all. Maybe we be likeJoshua and Cayley, trust all your word and thereby experience. Hevin or thankyou for such even today, Christ name we pray. Thank you for joiningus today.
