She was involved in the car accident. All of a sudden she's a will see what. They were blind in an accident. Then see that's possible. God could do that, but it's almost unbelievable. Last speaking of...

...spiritual sometimes, when it comes to spiritual side, we have an accident, a trial and difficulty. Before we were blind and then a trial comes into our life and then all of a sudden, oh now I can see because of that trial, because of that accident. That's exactly what happened to Joe. As much as Joe walked with God before this trial, in some ways he was blind. Then this trial hits him. Now all of a sudden he can see. Our reading. We finished the book of Joe Today's Chapter Thirty eight through forty two and God has been silent until now. God shows up and God's going to speak, and boy does God speak. The longest...

...lecture in all of scripture that God gives to anyone. He gives the joke the most righteous man on the face of the Earth at the time. God just lectures. Notice Chapter Thirty Eight, verses one through four. Then the Lord answered job out of the whirlwind and Said who is this? At darkness, counsel by words without knowledge. Now gird up your loins like a man and I will ask you. You instruct me. Where were you when I laid the foundation of the Earth? Tell me if you have understanding. In chapters thirty eight through forty one, God interrogates you. Thirty eight, thirty nine, forty forty one. He's going to now in tear. Joe And...

...as free as they've been, interrogating God. God, why are you doing this? God? Why are you in this Efort? God shows up, silence is ended. Job's been through a trial. Heaven's been silent. God. Why? God shows up and his first words to Joe are okay, you've questioned my goodness, you've questioned why I'm doing this, you questioned who I am. By tell me you tell me your knowledge. Up to this point, job has been interrograting God. God, why did you let this happen? God, do you care? And thus now God is going to start interrogating Joe. Chapter Thirty Eight, verses forward through seven. Joe, tell me what you know of the forming of the world. Joe, tell...

...me your control over the darkness and over the sea. Do you place boundaries on the sea, Joe? Do you tell it to see how far it can come? Do you place boundaries on evil? Joe? Do you tell he will how far it can come? The Sea and darkness and evil are confined to the limits God places on them. He says to the sea, you can only come this far. He says to the darkness, time provide. He says to the evil, you can't go any further. Let's Joe, do you know these limits? Verse Sixteen through eighteen. Speak Up, Joe, tell us of all your great knowledge. Job's responds silence. If you read the book of Job, up to this point, job's not been silent about much at all. His friends say something. Joke said, Hey,...

...let me correct you on that. His friend says something else, Hey, let me correct your God shows Um, God start saying. Hey, Joe, tell me you've been a to speak. You've been good about talking. All Right, I'm listening. Joe. Tell me what you want to say. Kind of give me all the wisdom and knowledge you have. Let's start with evil. What you know about evil or the sea or darkness? Just just kind of speak. All of a sudden, silence. Jokes enough, more than he can choose. God continues on. Joe. Do you control the wind or the snow? How about the rain? God sends it to the desert, thus preserving the balance of nature, whereas man would order the rain on fields produce of setting the balance of nature. Verse Thirty One through Thirty Three. Jove, do you manage the stars? Silence. How about the Animal World? Jove, do you provide food for the Lions?...

Versus thirty nine through forty one. Do you take care of the mountain goats? Chapter thirty nine, versus one through four. Do you know how to calls birds to migrate? Chapter Thirty Nine, Verses Twenty Six through thirty the interrogation continues all the way through chapter forty one, with the implication being very clear. Don't question God. God, are you good? How could you let this happen. Shut up. Mean to be me like that, but that's what God is saying. Shut your mouth, you don't know who you're talking to. This is God. How dare we question God? Don't question God, trust God. It's God's message to Joe. God spanks his child.

Jove's been good, but in this trial job seems some sinfulness of his own come out and he questioned the goodness of God and God comes down and he spinks his town. He says, close your mouth, you don't know if what you're speaking don't question God. Trust God. In the midst of these trials we are tempted to question God, which is exactly what Satan wants us today. God Says No, I want you to trust me. Faith is and faith wheneverything's good. Faith is faith when we trust God, when we can't see the future, when we don't know the future, when it's not clear. Joe Gets it and he states my ears have heard now I see. I was blind before this trial. Through this trial I see you...

...in ways I've never seen before. Joe had visibly seen God. This was a phrase of relationship. Job is saying that as close as he was with God before the trial, and he faithfully brave walked with God before the tribe. But as close as he was before the trial, he is so much closer after this trial. There came an intimacy through the trial, closeness with God and intimacy with God. God speaks and Joe Realizes God's goodness and Joe Realizes God's greatness. This relational knowledge of God made the trial worth it. I'll say that again. This relational closeness, it's post knowledge, is intimate experience with God, made the trial. No created thing is to be compared...

...to the creator. The close relationship with God is worth everything because God is it. That's the beauty of this. You reache Joe Forty two and you see that God doubles everything he had, he doubles his way and he doubles that everything. So well, I didn't double as children and got just the same children and as he had before they died. Know he would see his children in heaven. He had double children, whosses met as they had the first time, those first time, and now these have an so god double and everything. But the key is not God's blessing and doubling things. The key is that relationship with God Joe came to realize that's more important, that's life. Through this trial he grew close from the God you know. You do too, I do as well. It's in our trials and pray and seek God's face. We open the word of God and we just, over...

...and over and over, pray and and we look for things from God. That's when we grew close. Is through the no wonder, Jane says, count it all joy when you fall into numerous trials, knowing this, at the trying of your faith produces complete let it have its perfect working a relationship with life is for what we were creating. While this world reflects the life of its creator, it is not the same as the life of its trials help us realize the vanity of this world and the internality of our God. Job would say the trials were worth it because he now saw God. May We see God as never before. Through trials he brings our may we experience...

...him closer than ever. You have a hunger for God, a Hunderd to experiencing life. The end and only the are greatest trials worth. The End, and only the end can say God, thank you for trial and brought me more life. You brought me more what a powerful message. As we close the book of Joe, we're now going to be moving into the book of Exodus. Might want to read exodus chapters one through four to prepare for our lesson tomorrow. But let me close this in prayer. Today. Father, again we thank you for this amazing man, Joe. What a powerful book this is being. As we've read through, we seen you work in his life. We've seen you work in the lives of history, friends who believed in a work salvation before you. Shall not see you use Ella,...

...who a young man of God, to speak truth. We've seen you show up and, through this trial, bring about a closeness that was never there before. The Great God you are. Thank you for try, thank you pray this and, Jesus look forward to seeing you.
