Youcan find a RSS feedlink on our website, www dot do bery baptist clarksbridgecom.got a phone call and someone from the Church said, pastor, Iwas outside last night and I was a admiring that beautiful bribe side. Whatyou mean? You are outside last night admiring the beautiful bright side? I'mkid and I really didn't get that conversation or that phone call. But whatif I had? If I had,...

I would probably say, you knowwhat, let's schedule you for some counseling. What? Because you can't see thatbeautiful bright sun at night, but you might be able to see thesun at night with eyes of reason. No physicalize, but eyes of reason. You might be able to reason. You know what, the Sun hasn'tmoved. The Earth is rotating and thus the sun is still where it wasearlier in the day. Our site has more to do with us moving thenthe sun coming up or down. In other words, through reason one couldcome to the conclusion that the sun is always visible if that which hinders ourside is removed. Site is at times more clear when we see with somethingother than our physical eyes. So to...

...job would see the defeat of theone who had requested to torture job. He would see the defeat of thewicked one. With eyes of faith, are Reading For the Days Job ChapterTwenty five through twenty seven, and I want to focus especially on job twentysix, verse twelve B. Joe. Twenty five through twenty seven, jobis interacting with one of his brands again. Bill, Dad and of course it'sfriends are arguing for a work salvation, and job is arguing, know, for salvation by faith, but he's struggling with how God could let thishappen. Do it. But we find a very interesting verse in Job TwentySix, verse Twelve B. by his wisdom, speaking of God, byhis wisdom, he cut Rahab in pieces. This must cause cognitive consternation. Whatdo you mean? Rayhab? God...

Cut Rahab in pieces. What isthis referring? Is it referring to a people group? Is referring to aperson? After some study into this verse, I would say no deler both.In fact, in the Hebrew the rayhab in this passage is pronounced Rahab. It'smell totally different from the Rahab in Joshua Chapter two, which is pronouncedrecab. So to what is this in reference to? What's job speaking of? In reading this passage, psalm eighty nine, verse ten and Isaiah FiftyOne. Verse Nine, Rahab appears to be some sort of enemy of Godwhich God destroys. And I they have fifty one. This Rahab, orrush Rahab, is equated with a dragon...

...and here it's equated with a fleeingserpent. Joke. Twenty six, verse thirteen, the very next verse. In songs and Isaiah, the references back to the exidents. So as youread Psalm Eighty nine and Isaiah fifty one, you see this Rahab, Rahab, which is like a dragon and appears to be in reference to Pharaoh. But such could not be the case here. This was hundreds of years before theexodus. This couldn't be a reference to Parareh. It appears that theRehab here of which job is speaking is the enemy of God who, centurieslater, was seditious lead deceived and embolden the wicked Pharaoh. Who is thisenemy? He's the Dragon, the serpent,...

...the evil one of old. Thisis Satan himself. And yet job says, by his wisdom, Godcut rayhab Rahab in pieces, and yet the serpent's flee. He's cut inpieces and yet Lee. Good News. Satan and evil have been defeated. However, it's not fully realized. His defeat began when he rebelled against God. At that moment Satan was cast out of Heaven, UN forfeited life, but that would only be realized later. Whatever occurred when Satan was expelled fromhis service to God, he was cut...

...in pieces. His Kingdom of evilwas defeated the moment he rebelled. However, within time and history, ultimately thisdefeat would occur at the cross and even the end. It won't berealized until the end times. I once heard that Satan is like a bewithout a singing heard about a man driving down the road. His boy wasin the back and they had the windows down, just driving, enjoy thebreeze, enjoying the air, and be flew in. Little Boys said,Daddy, Daddy, there's a bee. Father, reach back there with hishand and he grabbed the bee and he threw out the window and it wentout the front window and went right back in the back window. The boysaid, Daddy, Daddy, there's a bee again, and daddy turned around. He said, son, it's okay,...

I've got a Stinger. Against stinganymore. That's what Satan is. He's a bee without a stinging. He's just buzzing around bugging him. He can't stay anymore. Jesus remove that. They're on the cross. However, it is interesting to know who wrotethis text. Job, job, wrote this passage. The child of Godwho, more than any other person in the Bible, say Jesus Christ, the son of God himself, experience the own Slat of Satan. Any Joewalked with God and because of that he had a cross hair only from Satanhimself lining him up. And by the way, if you walk with God, you'll have a cross hair on you as well. A man who losthis children, lost his riches, lost...

...his health, the man whose wifeand friends turned against him, a man o Satan was personally allowed to torment. And yet, in the midst of this torment, in the midst ofthese struggles, in the midst of these trials. By faith, he writesthat the one who is terrorizing him, Satan, is defeated. Wow,what incredible, amazing faith. That is, faith of jewel. Oh that youand I would have such faith that, in the midst of our terrors,in the midst of our trials, in the midst of the bad thatoccurs in our lives, we might declare Satan has been defeated, as hasevil, as has our sin. They've been defeated, cut in pieces andare flee we truly are victors in the...

...midst of trials. I hope youbelieve it. I hope you know that. You know that. You know becauseof what Jesus has done in your life, Satan's been defeating it,your sins have been defeated, evil's been defeated, and I want you toclaim that today, by faith, no matter what you're going through, byfaith you're a victor. You're a child of God, because God said so. What amazing faith. By job, and what a lesson. Well,we'll continue our daily studies tomorrow. Will be in job chapters twenty eight throughthirty one. I encourage you to go ahead and read ahead as we're makingour way through the Bible, Job Twenty eight through thirty one. I'll seeyou back tomorrow, but let me pray with you before we go. Father, thank you so much for that amazing faith that job had. Lord.It truly is amazing to see that incredible...

...faith two thousand, two hundred yearsbefore Jesus ever walked the face of the earth. Job had faith in hismediator. Job had faith that you would destroy had the the one who ispersecuted, father, thinking for help us to have that same Jesus name.We thank you again for joining us.
